About the Recipe

<p>A tangy rice dish made with channa and urad dals, infused with the flavor of tamarind pulp. Tamarind rice is actually a north Indian version of Pulihora or Puliyodharayi, where the term &#039;Puli&#039; means something sour. Tamarind here is the sour ingredient. This is a perfect meal to cook when you want something light, easy and quick.</p>

Ingredients

Chana Dal|coocked rice|fried peanuts|masala powder|Oil|red chili|red chili powder|red chilli|salt(as per your taste)|small; mustard seeds|tamarind water|till / seesame seed|Turmeric Powder|udad dal

Preparation

Heat oil, add mustard seeds, red chilli , hing & dals.

Saute them on low flame till dal changes its color

Now add masala powder & mix everything

Mix them & once the paste gets thickened add rice & salt.
